It has been wrongly reported on FB that the ISS will pass over the UK on Christmas eve . People were told to tell their kids it was Santa's sleigh. But the information was for Dec 24th 2016 not this year.
It did pass over the UK on Christmas Eve Eddie albeit at 07.30 this morning.

As most of you know I have been giving out the iSS evening sightings for the past 7 to 8 years you would have been well informed if there was a sighting tonight Xmas eve .
Yes EDDIE the view on Xmas eve in 2016 was fantastic .i told one or two of the kids in my street and to go out and see nearly all the kids out was great to see .now they ask me when it is passing over in the evenings .merry Xmas and a happy new year .
