double and triple checking contents of fridge and freezer for Xmas and son's birthday on Boxing Day :-D
I'm on holiday in the Caribbean so I will be on the beach all day and every day.
Like you, last minute bits and bobs. Folks truly going mad here. Queue to get into Lidl's car park stretching all way along high road!!!!
Have an amazing time Prudie. Merry Christmas x
I hope you have got enough in Albs, it's madness out there! My Daughters Birthday tomorrow (we timed that well !)
Tomorrow I plan on doing nothing, watch silly films and Netflix and drink wine :o)
I've heard it's utter madness out there.
Mr Alba went to buy his morning paper just after 9 and traffic was already heavy.

Prudie ! wow ! hope you have a lovely time x

lol, Mazie, don't blame yourself or Mr Mazie, blame the child, they come when they're cooked.
The younger alba was due on the 16th, he was rather comfy reading the book his brother had written (brother was also 10 days late)
Have a lovely time xxxx
Friend calling in the morning, then church, then decs are being put up or at least some more, then take out and sleep. Today, wrapping and getting the house into some order (I wish)

Mazie, please tell me you have told daughter that you had bought her an xmas pressie and she arrived early to see it!!
done the shopping and the streets were already crammed yesterday; it's only going to get worse. Go carefully and wear body armour.
Wishing you all a great time and hope you all get sorted. Can't say I miss having to do all that.
I should be getting ready to go round to my nans for turkey dinner. Its my cousins birthday so she likes to combine it with Xmas. Nowhere near ready though, and supposed to be there between 3.30 and 4pm!!

Tomorrow will be a lazy day, hopefully doing nothing and Xmas day will be at my aunts :o)

I can feel the weight piling on as I type!!
A quiet night in after some revellery in York last night.
I glad I didn't have to go out today. OH went to buy a few veggies and said the queue outside Tesco was terrible even at 7 am.
Our local town was very quiet today, we had it all to ourselves virtually. I went to get veg and flowers from the market, a few everyday items for the week ahead and then to the supermarket. It was nice and quiet in there too, so we had some lunch and did our main shop.

This afternoon I delivered cards to the neighbours and made festive arrangements with the flowers and evergreen from the garden.

Tomorrow we're going to the pantomime in the afternoon and having roast dinner in the evening.
Working Christmas Eve. Day off today, shopping done by 7.30 a.m. (no bad queues), presents delivered, went for a run and ended up trying to catch an escaped Great Dane that was running across a busy road. Managed to help direct it home eventually.
Sitting on the M4
Walking the hounds, cleaning the cat's litter trays and hoovering
