Tell it to Fox off and install Chrome.

Thanks, Jackdaw, I might do that! I uninstalled Chrome because, having used it for ages, it suddenly started to close down whenever it felt like it, usually when I was in the middle of something.
I only allow location, to get relevant searches, and fault reporting. In response to the earlier answer on all the sites I visit Chrome is the most complained about.
Strange. I've never had a problem with Chrome all the years I've been using it.
Nor me. Surely Internet Explorer is the most complained about.
The bit after the "to..." might be relevant in being able to answer.

I have tried using Chrome but I don't like it. It always seems dead slow to me and I down't like the menu arrangment.
Just a personal thing perhaps (as well as not wanting to sell even more of my soul to Google :-) )
Shhh! Don't mention IE, Chico might be about. He never ceases to sing the praises of IE!!!
Icheria, isn't the speed determined by your broadband provider?
I thought I would give Chrome another crack of the whip: started it up, and have had to kill it due to lack of responsiveness. It's been the same every time I have tried to use it on any machine over the last few years.
As far as speed and speed of broadband goes, obviously a faster internet connection will make browsing faster, but my experience with chrome is that it has always been such a pain to initialise that I can't be bothered. Firefox is not perfect but for me, at any rate, it offers a more satisfactory experience. And as previously mentioned I don't like Chrome's icon-based menus. Just a personal thing, that.
You can easily amend Firefox's sharing data in Options/Privacy & Security/Firefox Data Collection and Use (remove ticks from boxes)

Job done, do not see what the problem is?

I think you will find that Chrome and IE and other browsers 'data share' as well
After Firefox's recent makeover, which was supposed to make everything better and faster, I had so many issues with it that I uninstalled it and went to Chrome.
The Germans have a very useful word which I think applies;
Schilmmverbesserung an improvement which makes things worse.
That should be, Schlimmverbesserung
