I think they are rushing a little towards the conclusions, I would have liked to see a full ten-episode season covering the same material. But there were at least two cracking episodes in the season and several memorable moments. Probably Season 6 was better but plenty to enjoy I'm sure.

each episode is a little longer than previous seasons hence the less number of episodes per season.

oh my goodness Emmie, that is so spooky, I hadn't seen my youngest Bro since spring and on Saturday and he gave me GOT series 7 on USB. I'm so looking forward to watching them... I don't mind if Emilia Clarke (Mother of Dragons) decides to get her kit off again.

There are some very memorable bits in it and they are bringing the plot to the boil very nicely. I hope the final series does it all justice. A film to finish it off would be spectacular.

If you can, LIK, binge watch it all....it just gets better every season. On my list to buy Season 7 for all of us at Christmas, on Blu-Ray, as we have Seasons 1-6 already.
Emmie, seen Season 7 already, it does rush a little through the stories, as a shorter episode season, but, oh boy, you're in for a treat...and seeing Star Wars - The Last Jedi on big screen cinema on Wednesday night ☺

It is just uterly superb. Fabulous. The best tv programme ever made. And using a lot of British talent.
