Can I put my dishcloth in the dishwasher with the dishes...serious question by the way

I sometimes do. It's quicker than waiting for a suitable load for it to go in the washing machine.
Only if it's not going to swoosh about. Put it under something to keep it still. You don't want it wrapped around the agitator.
Well. I've never thought of doing that. I'll tell the Mrs :-)

I use one of those plastic handled dishwasher things, from Ikea, and every now, I put it in the dishwasher.

But I wouldn't put any thing made of cloth into the dishwasher, as it would prevent proper drying of the dishes, especially glassware.
I put mine in the larger cutlery compartment......fits in loosely and stays put....x
What do you do with the dishcloth, gness?;-)

We dont ever, fruitsalad.....might cause a problem needing a fix, and would hate to call out an engineer (on kitchen appliances warranty anyway) just for putting a dishcloth in it.... put it in the washing machine, where it'll be happier.
