A recent news item stated that the Queen and Duke considered their faith of great importance to them. Are they both stupid, misled, or what?

Well I am considered misled, so just wondered if H.M. would be considered equally in error, but of course without the abuse.
I think she prefers Mrs Windsor to Mis Led, when she's down the bingo anyway.

Good ole Lizzie. Life and soul of the social club.
Theland - I am unsure why the news item leads you to conclude that the royal couple maybe stupid, or misled, or both, or something else.

Would you care to explain the thinking behind that observation?
Question Author
Yes. Apparently they believe as I do. But I get ridicule and abuse. Strange eh? One rule for one etc?
//But I get ridicule and abuse.//
That's because you come on here shoving religion down out necks and refusing to answer questions put to you. Nothing to do with having a faith.
Question Author
I do not shove my beliefs down anybody's neck. Neither do I abuse or ridicule. As for answering questions, do you mean the third degree type typical on here?
//Neither do I abuse or ridicule.//
??
//Just wanted to annoy you.
So can you explain this from your heathen mindset?//
In a word ....NO !!
Ignore the abuse. Anserbank has the topic for R&S & the site welcomes all questioners to keep going

Thanks Tambo. Really.
//I do not shove my beliefs down anybody's neck.//
And I comb my hair every morning, honest!
They are neither stupid nor misled, they are just a couple who have grown old together with 'faith'. I admire them and at times, envy them ...
Theland you do rather shove your beliefs down people's necks or at least ridicule those who don't agree with you, but you're entitled to ask whatever questions you like.
To answer the latest one, when Henry VIII broke form Rome he made himself head of the Church of England, that title has been inherited ever since by whichever monarch took the throne. Is the Queen genuinely religious? Maybe, maybe not, no-one can know except her, but it is her job to be Head of the Church in this country, so unless she didn't fancy the job of Queen as a whole, if she wasn't particularly religious she'd have done well to keep quiet. That's true of all our monarchs, so like the rest of us, she might be religious or she might not, just because she is head of the church I don't think you can necessarily draw any realistic conclusions one way or the other.
Kvalidir; It states in the OP that she has said her religion is important to her, so there is no equivocation, unless she is lying - a treasonable accusation, I would have thought.
Is The Queen Misled?

She wouldn't be alone. Some have lost their heads over lesser things.
