Personally I find him about as amusing as root canal surgery with no anaesthetic, but that aside, if he is one of the most popular (and wealthy) comedians in the country, why is it beyond the powers of the people who dress him to go on stage, to put him a suit that fits him properly?
A slim-fitting tailored suit looks good on a tall slim man, on Mr Macintyre, he looks like ten pounds of potatoes in a six-pound bag.
I thought he was like a breath of fresh air when he first appeared on our screens but that air has now turned quite stale. His act hasn't evolved in any way, shape or form - apart from the fact his voice appears to have got louder and more shrill. I am one of those who turn over or turn off whenever he is on.
I agree with you there Ken, and to be honest I don't give a hoot aboot his suit. I caught the repeat of his Saturday show and the Danny Dyer phone bit had me laughing which was mainly down to the replies. I think I'll watch it this evening with it being Alan Shearer.
I'm a fan, he often makes me laugh out loud and as for his clothes, he's quite small and dare I say, dumpy, so he won't really look too good in a suit anyway, but he looks fine to me ...
