Can be a bit of a pain as we all know. Our dog is of a long haired variety and she has always tolerated rather than enjoyed being combed and brushed. She is now getting on and it became a bit of an ordeal for her and "She who must be obeyed" who does the job every Sat Morning. Well we had a result this morning. She tried one of those grooming glove thingymibobs and hey presto job done and the dog loves it. If you have a look around you can get Left and Right hand gloves or a pair. We just got a right hander for now to see how it went. Can recommend.

Waste of time and money for our hounds, probably depends on the pet and coat type?
I've just added that to my Amazon wish list. It may be useful when Caspars coat grows out( shaggy cat was de-matted almost 2 weeks ago). Thanks.

Lol Ratter. I should think you would need one of those revolving industrial ones that are used by the road sweepers. Ours is a Blue Merle/Bearded Collie cross and this morning it reduced the angst to zero. She is almost 17yrs old and has come to hate it lately but was very happy with the process this morning. Just passing the tip on for those who may find it as useful as we have.
