Where Is Program Hiding?

Hi,
when I start typing something into "Googles" https://www a "search by" Palikan appears below.
When I open a second page from Google the page is taken over by Palikan. I'm not very good at explaining this but what I want to do is erase Palikan from my computer...trouble is I can't find it.
A search only came up with a small text file,not the program.

Which browser do you use?
If you look in browser settings and search setting is it mentioned? If so you can remove it.
Malwarebytes might help too

SA's link is from a reliable website but it's also one which is well-known for its 'overkill' approach to everything.

Simply downloading, installing and running the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (which is the 3rd of the 5 steps given there) is likely to fix the problem.

However you can't get the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware these days without taking a free trial of their 'Premium' product, which is annoying and has been known to slow some people's computers down considerably (including mine!).

So a better solution would be to download, install and run AdwCleaner. It's now owned by Malwarebytes anyway, so it's just as good but doesn't involve any 'free trial':

In future you may want to pay attention to what is "bundled" with software you intended to download. Untick anything suggesting that you have additional software installed at the same time. Or consider https://unchecky.com/ which catches a lot of it.
