Have they stopped doing weekend deliveries? Everything I'm looking at says Monday delivery.

I'm not happy!

Blinking hell. Now it's saying Tuesday.
I read somewhere that they have sneakily put up the delivery cost for smaller orders.
They DO deliver on Saturdays but they DON'T deliver on Sundays.

Quote:
"One Day Delivery is 1 business day after dispatch, including Saturdays, but not including Public Holidays"

Source:

Since Sunday clearly isn't a 'business day', and anything ordered now isn't going to be despatched until tomorrow (Saturday), then the next business day for delivery will be Monday.
I've just checked mine- and it's also saying "delivery monday" even for next-day. They do get busier and later at this time of year. Will see if anything still arrives early.
Hmmm:

"Parcels going to residential addresses might be delivered on Sundays and some UK Bank Holidays"

. . . but it's obviously not guaranteed.

I'm on the phone with them now.

Chris. I've always had Sunday deliveries.
I went to place an order today for a CD which said next day delivery but when I got to the checkout it said Tuesday. That was on Aamazon not Amazon Prime though.
It's possible that the courier who brings stuff to you is a one man operation who takes enough parcels on the Friday night/Saturday morning loading session to give him work right over the weekend and somehow books Sunday deliveries as Saturday.
His time to use and extra cash for deliveries
I've had Sunday deliveries as well then I had to confess to what I'd ordered... :-)

They're blaming Black Friday, but I don't really care, I've paid for a service that I fully expect to receive.
>>> I've paid for a service that I fully expect to receive.

Then if, say, you send something by First Class post in late December, aren't you prepared to accept that it might take a bit longer than usual?
Jings! Just remember when he gets there, it's not the driver's fault.
I ordered something on Saturday afternoon, was delivered the Sunday.

First Class post doesn't guarantee next day delivery. Amazon sells it's Prime membership as this feature.
Without a doubt we ordered last Saturday evening at 19.30 (18/11/17) .. and were given a delivery date of tbe following saturday (tommorow .. 25/11/17). As it was xmas presents, there was no panic and I would prefer not to pay for delivery. Less than 12 hours later,on Sunday 19/11/17 we received our delivery and no delivery charge was made.
My son ordered an item at 22.30 .. 2 weeks ago on a Saturday night .. just over an hour later he received a text to say the item had been delivered to a local Amazon locker and was ready for pickup.
When I talk to the local Amazon couriers who are all self employed, they tell me that in certain areas, the delivery target time will soon be under 30 minutes ...

It will be done by a drone when the flight paths as sorted out !
I'm with rocky on this...as a Prime member, I expect free next-day delivery....and have always received it. If I place an order now (Sat pm), I would expect it tomorrow....but, currently, it's stating Tuesday, EVEN THOUGH the "free next-day delivery" box on the checkout page is ticked. I suspected that Black Friday would be blamed....they really shouldn't state "guaranteed next-day delivery" if they're not prepared to live up to the promise.
I think they're just being cautious with 'expected' delivery dates because of the Black Friday peak in sales.

I ordered stuff at teatime yesterday and was given 'Monday' as the delivery day - but it arrived by 11am today.
Mine said Monday and arrived yesterday and today.
