I am male, 68, and for the last few weeks my right thumb nail has become very shiny, as if I have varnish on, which I don't. All other nails are ok. (I am not taking any medication, but suspect that will soon be taking something to reduce high blood-pressure.) Any ideas? TIA.

Thanks, Sqad. But surely something is causing this? I can almost see my reflection in it! I have scrubbed and scrubbed to no avail.
Do you share a house with Scrappy Mouse ? Do you fall asleep on the sofa watching the TV on an evening ?

MightyMouse, all that scrubbing might be making it more shiny. If your hands are otherwise ok I don't think you need to worry about it.
I was going to say the same...^^^^
