I have noticed lately that all newly built flats are being advertised as ‘luxury apartments ‘ and all burger stands at shows etc are advertised as ‘gourmet burgers’. Has anyone noticed this or does anyone have an explanation please?

Yes, I've heard that the Ed is introducing a new category for 'Best Answer' - the 'Bestest Answer'.........after all, we are increasingly driven by superlatives.
Bestest; (ouch, how can you have a superlative of a superlative?) - the first time that I heard it was from the Duchess of Pork, 'my bestest friend'.
