There is a lady who works in Sainsbury’s and she has got to know Dad and I over the years.

She asked yesterday what I was going to bake and I said my Christmas Cake.

She asked if it was gluten free could she have some I said it isn’t - but I’d like to make her one - what would I need to get to make it gluten free? Do I just change the flour?

Any recommendations for such?

Yes, just use gluten free flour. Doves Farm flour is good
If you soak your fruit in beer you will need GF one.

Second the Doves recommendation.

I’ll have a look out for it. Thanks!

I usually soak the fruit in orange juice and whisky and feed it with whisky.
Just double check all your ingredients are wheat and gluten free and avoid making along side other wheat products to avoid the risk of cross contamination, that way your cake will be fine.
