Not sure where you get the "quotes" from
Equate must be right. I thought answer might be a European (Latin) term
danny- i think you have to omit the i (one) too

That should be anagram of QUITE A then remove teh i (one) and add an E

Just found out equita means RIDE in Latin- I'd assumed it was related to equitable, equal etc and therefore match.
