I despise Islam like I despise all organized religion, but that doesn't mean that I have to believe everything that the media portrays about a particular subject. (an example being that prisons are holiday camps...far from it)
Ive worked with muslims and while I find their beliefs ridiculous (just like I find the beliefs of Christians ridiculous) I couldn't fault them as people, in fact Ive found born again evangelicals much less easier to get on with.
Isnt it a similar thing to portraying all Catholic priests as kiddie fiddlers when clearly they arnt?

And an after thought. Do consider yourself lucky that for a change I did not ignore you.

// Nailit, do you have face to face communication with female muslims.//
Tambo, Ive worked with muslims (females) and they have been the loveliest, kindest people to work with. Male muslims are a different matter.
Keyplus, you say you do not waste your time on time-wasters (that’ll be me and anyone else who can argue ‘Islam’ then) and that you will answer Birdie - who can also argue 'Islam' - when you see him face to face – knowing that’s never going to happen. You’ve been harping on with that creepy invitation for years and it’s as creepy now as it ever was. Time to give that one up, Keyplus. You might fool some, but to the rest your inability to defend your religion is obvious. If you could, you would – but you don’t because you can’t. Sorry old bean, but that’s the bottom line.

I don't really care anymore, they do seem to be the most troublesome Religion we have at the moment and need to be carefully monitored.
Sorry, Baldric, I've had to report your last post for Islamophobia and several other nasty things.

Fairy nough ;o)
No, Naomi, as usual you are wrong again. I am a kind of person who likes to talk, have debate, give his point and listens to what other person says and agree or disagree.
Now the problem is majority of the people here (including you of course) believe that they are very clever but they are not willing to accept or convince others about what they believe. However they do love to harp about their own intelligence and ability to debate. But in reality these people are just stubborn, rigid people with brain stuck at “ONE POINT” and they are happy about it because they are hidden behind pixels. However my little birdie is a little different as he seems keener to convince others and therefore I believe that he is “willing” unlike others to convince or be convinced. However he is also hiding behind pixels and therefore his talent is being wasted. And therefore I am willing to give him a chance. But as it seems that he also is influenced by your kind and is in two minds, most of the times.
Now what is the outcome? It is that I would keep on doing (occasionally of course) what I have been doing. And that is, sometime pop in when I have spare time and waste a bit. However it is a different story for you because perhaps you depend on this website more than one can ever think.
" No, Naomi, as usual you are wrong again. I am a kind of person who likes to talk, have debate, give his point and listens to what other person says and agree or disagree."
Just to add the line that you forgot, I will never give a straight forward answer to any question.

" Do consider yourself lucky that for a change I did not ignore you."
That statement is typical of a condescending religious bigot.
Keyplus -

I see you cannot answer my simple question. I very politely asked you to back up your claim that the phrase, “Kill [the unbelievers] wherever you find them" is often taken out of context. I even gave you a superb Islamic reference website to use. Not surprisingly you have failed to even attempt to defend your earlier statement. I know why. In fact, we all do. We know you cannot defend the despicable passages in your holy book because no one can. The Koran is filled with hateful verses that call for the literal murder, rape and enslavement of those people who refuse to accept your doctrine. You know this. And you know that we know this. And it drives you crazy that you cannot defend your own religion using logic and reasoning.

So instead you go off on a rant. And then you repeat – again – your insane suggestion that you and I should meet in person. I have said many, many times that I will never meet you in person. Why? Because over the years on this website you have demonstrated that you are a liar and an intolerant bigot. I do not believe for one minute that you mean me no harm.

Get over yourself Keyplus. It's on-line debate or nothing.
Keyplus, you have been proven wrong on these pages time and time again, but there’s nothing you can say face to face that you can’t say here. You’ve been badgering Birdie for years to meet you – and frankly that’s sinister. I wouldn’t trust you as far as I could throw you.
Naomi - “... there’s nothing you [Keyplus] can say face to face [with Birdie] that you can’t say here...”

Quite.
We all know that an actual debate is the last thing on his tiny mind.
We could all go for a pint together.

Does violent, intolerant bigotry come in pints?
