I did exactly the same mrsmaggot! I even wondered if the name was something like initial, then surname e.g 'O. Trit' etc but no joy!
Hi ellie- I'm not sure if the anagram solver would have shown every permutation.
I have found at least 60 permutations- listed below. It gets even more complicated if the I could be a number 1 or a letter L or if the O could be a 0 (zero) .

found mr and mrs rossi by Carolyn hector?
mmmm.
Here's an extract

“Do I want to make you moan from a series of love making?” He leaned forward; his hand wrapped around her behind and kissed her stomach. The warmth of his mouth melted her insides. “Do I want to make you moan from a nice massage,” he rubbed her lower back, “or do I want to make you moan from feeding you something delicious.”

Not sure that it's a children's book.

The poster says the setter has confirmed that teh letters ROTTI are correct.

Strange one isn't it
oh dear, lol, I didn't read it x
Question Author
F-F . It is definitely an I and definitely an O,
I can tell this from the number 1's and zeros on the numbering of the questions on the sheet which are completely different from the lettering which is consistent in all the questions.
I'll have to give up on this as I have exhausted all possibilities. When is the closing date?
Question Author
30th Sept is c/d
Don't think I'm going to get it either !
I've spent far too much time on it already and got nowhere!
Amy luck yet, mrsmaggot? You don't have to tell us the solution if you'd rather not- ijust wondered if there is an answer
Question Author
If there is a solution- I still haven't got it !
If I do get it - I will post it in this thread
If I don't get it before I send it off I will enclose SAE. For correct answers and post the answer when I get the quiz returned.
I am struggling with this one too! The other questions are all spelt correctly so unlikely to be an error. Stuck!
Any news yet please mrsmaggot? Quite a few on here are hoping to see the answer
Question Author
So sorry - I posted this in the wrong place !
It's strange that the quiz c/d was end of Sept but I still have not got it back .( the setter had 4 quizzes running at the same time and I posted them all in one envelope to her and enclosed a SAE for their return but nothing has came back so far. Will post the answer as soon as I get it back .
Question Author
Quiz returned today .
The answer is Mr And Mrs Troit
( still could not find any evidence of a children's book called this ! But hey ho !)
IMO no such book. Would like to see the evidence!
Ah well, thanks for letting us know. I suppose the judge's decision is final and all that. I know we searched all 60 permutations including Troit and found nothing at all on Google books, and nothing relevant on Google search generally or on Google images. Very odd.
I wonder if anyone got it right? Does the setter say whether anyone got them all right?
Question Author
No , she didn't say ...... and no note was in with any of the 4 comps to say who had won any of them -( i had the other 3 all correct and only that one missing from the 4th one so it would hve been nice to have had a note in saying who won the quizzes)
This is a bit late Mrs Maggot but if I were you I'd ask her for a list of winners and also if I could borrow her Mr and Mrs Troit book!
