After reminders from Microsoft about allowing them to do updates that would take a long time I eventually allowed them to do it. However the following day I was unable to access anything on my laptop, even logging on. Not being technical I had to call on the services of an IT expert. He told me all my Windows 10 files had been screwed up and when I told him about the updates he said this was the probable cause. He took my laptop away and returned it 2 days later with a bill of £90, do you think I could claim this from Microsoft??? Anyway I now need to change my password to get into Windows 10 but have no idea where I go to do this. Any help gratefully received.

Not a chance!

Prior to allowing microsoft to mess with her laptop, Kazal had a perfectly functioning laptop – following actions by microsoft, the laptop required Kazal to employ the services of an IT expert to get it working.

If Kazal were to make a small-claims against microsoft for damaging her laptop – I would be interested to know what their defence would be.

After all, if I was to infect Kazal’s laptop with a piece of software code that prevented it from functioning (and she could prove it), I would expect her to win a court case against me. The fact that microsoft does this regularly, would not be a valid defence IMHO.
all this can be fixed if abers would explain a bit more of the problems
