Hunting Hitler, yes that was the one. They suggested that there could have been an elaborate escape route already planned from the bunker to Templehof airport where a fast plane would have been ready and waiting to spirit Herr und Frau Hitler (as she would have been) away to Spain, whence to South America via U-boat and eventually a small and heavily fortified village hidden away in the jungle somewhere.

I couldn't help thinking it would have made a good film :-)
His Butler found the dead bodies of Hitler, Braun and his dog. Braun and the dog had swallowed suicide pills and Hitler himself has blown his brains out.

The Butler then cremated the bodies. All this was in the last episode of "World at War"

I have no doubt whatsoever, that is the truth, and have no reason to suppose there there is an alternative story.
Its taken me ages to find it, but here is the evidence, presented to camera, for what happened to Hitler in his final hours :::::

oh NO!
he didnt marry princess Elizabeth in 1948 did he ?

( I mean did you see the mother in law - blimey she was a weird one. Founded her own order of Nuns - of which she was the only member)

or lived under the alias of Unity MItford .... ( who was dead if you remember )

Hey less sensationally - Mme Chekhova ( yup wife of the playwright ) end up in the German Chancellery Olga Nipper and wasnt shot as a collab when Russian invaded 1944 but turned up at his right hand as she had been a spy all along !
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olga_Knipper
Hitler's dog's name was Mitzi or Blondi wasnt it
they tested the poison on the dog

The Russians took the Chncellery and dug up the bones from a shallow grave. - a team then took them back to Noscow - they had to bury them at the end of each days journey when they bivouacked ( god knows the reason - vee will shoot you if you dont )
and then they were sort of lost I think
