Is there one, anywhere in the world, you particularly love?

I've been to the Pyramids, the Empire State, The Statue of Liberty.... yada yada... but the one place I was truly awestruck was the Cathedral in Seville - truly majestic.

What about you?

Mikey, I was told on my birthday you can't take it with you, and you know they were right, don't put off what you can do today as tomorrow may never come, if you are going to spend, spend on yourself or with your partners as your siblings will spend it without a doubt.

The Taj Mahal is on my must-see list, as is The Alhambra.

I had dinner one NYE at the top of the CN Tower - that was quite an experience.

TWR....the difficulty is that I have got it now nor have much of it in the future !

My health isn't the best now either.

But I have been to the Grand Canyon, twice, New York 3 times, and lots of other places in the world, so I am more than happy to enjoy Cornwall nowadays.

You can't beat St Ives...
Interestingly I am just home from a visit to Seville and fully understand about the cathedral, but for me it was too much. All that gold plundered from the Americas made me a but uncomfortable, especially in a religious setting. I adored the Alcazar in Seville and Cordoba was amazing. Alhambra was great but no more so that te others.

The Pyramids of Giza took by breath away on first visit many years ago, as did some of thr national parks in America.

So if I have to pick one as most amazing sight it would be Bryce Canyon.
^^ I know thats not a building or a structure!
i lived in Gibraltar for a few years and st michaels cave is glorious x
Mayup....agree about Bryce !

I have been there twice and really didn't want to leave on either occasion. On the second time there, I rented one of the mini log cabins for 3 days....expensive but wonderful. Eating in the main lodge dining room was an experience, even though it was difficult getting some wine ( being in Utah )

Maydup - did you see any weddings when you were in Seville?

I saw a couple and the guests were astonishing well-dressed.
I did catch glimpse of one wedding in Seville, but only bride and groom having photos on thier own. They did look rather splendid though.
I LOVE Paris and the Eiffel Tower lit up at night was stunning for me and I also loved walking along the Champs Elysses (not sure of spelling) with all the lights on the trees twinkling away - magical.
I can’t explain why but I adore the Flat Iron building in New York!
