For anyone with small children, you can pre bake and let put it together & decorate it. I'm adapting this recipe for Halloween by changing the colours of icing to Orange and black ( idea off one of Mikeys Lidl threads) of a Halloween gingerbread house. Templates for the panels are below the recipe for you to print out.

Love doing these type of things Murray. I made them for my own, now with granddaughter.
Ikea sells a gingerbread house for a couple of quid already baked all you have to do is stick it together and decorate.

I would have bought that had there been an Ikea near too. I do like making them though too.
would not have the heart to eat it..I still have a chocolate Easter Teddy in a box that mum gave me 30 years ago !!
Yes Eleena although the last couple of years my hubby has eaten it before I have got it stuck together lol
It is fun making it from scratch but I don't really have the time so the Ikea one is a middle man
