Can't you have it pulled, rocy. Nothing worse than the toothache imo.
rocky not rocy.
I feel for you. Hopefully the meds will kick in soon x
Ouch, rocky. Do you have a dentist appointment booked?
Can you take a painkiller like Co-codamol?

Can't have it pulled, Tony. It's right at the front.

To add insult to injury, it'll cost a fortune in root canal treatment.

Ummm, I think I'd rather go through childbirth again than suffer this.

I've been to the dentist, that's how I get the antibiotics. I'm taking Ibuprofen at the moment, is Co-Codamol available OTC?
Can only sympathise because I've been through that. Unbearable pain. Loads of clove oil helped as did a hot water bottle on my face. The antibiotics should kick in withing 36 hours at most.
Ah right, I see rocky. What are the options ?.
Swilling a drop of whiskey around the painful tooth has helped me in the past, seems to numb it a bit.
Ask round family and friends for stronger painkillers,as long as you have no reason not to take them you'll be ok till the ABs kick in.
// is Co-Codamol available OTC?// yes

500 and 15 I think ( no not 500mg Codeine - oo er mrs!)

if oyu are going out to get some then you can take 2 ( 1g ) every two hours until you go to sleep = pain relief occurs up to 6 times
I used Baileys as well but Rocky can't drink with that antibiotic. It is one of the type that really make you sick with alcohol.
You can buy low strength co-codamol OTC, but higher strength needs a prescription.
Ah I see, Prudie. Not good.
You need to suck on something warm;-)

Steady on, Melv ;)

Thanks all. Booze would be my preferred painkiller, especially a rather large Manhattan. Unfortunately, drinking with Metronizadole has a better than average chance of inducing vomiting. I have to wait 48 hours after course before I can imbibe, so that's next Sunday :(
You have my sympathy, rocky.
