"A good place to start believing God created the universe, is to eliminate by reason all of the other possibilities for the origin of the universe. Try it and don't settle for,"We don't know.""
We don't know Theland and neither do you. You think you do but there is a huge difference in knowing something and thinking you know it. If you knew you would be offering proof not platitudes, you and people like you constantly tell us what is going to happen, but do you offer proof? no because there is non. All you offer is sanctimonious clap trap arrogantly delivered.

But you do not even suggest any alternative possibilities do you?
For that which exists (the universe) no explanation is necessary. For that which does not exist (God) no explanation is possible.
" But you do not even suggest any alternative possibilities do you?"
I'll offer alternatives possibilities when you offer proof.

Mibs. That comment was not worthy of you.
The universe would get along just fine without us knowing it exists. For a very long time our knowledge of its existence was far removed from what we have learned in the past hundred years. One might begin to wonder why God chose to hind some much from us for so long
. . . presuming there ever was a God at all.
Question Author
The scientific method considers ALL possibilities not making assumptions before investigating. You ASSUME that the spiritual dimension does not exist. You. Broke the rule
//You ASSUME that the spiritual dimension does not exist.//

That's your presumption . . . not mine. I don't even know what 'the spiritual dimension' is intended to refer to . . . if anything at all.

Then you are at odds with a great many Christian scientists, for example Isaac Newton.
As they are with each other.
Nobody's 100%, 100% of the time, Newton being no exception, seems to go with the territory of actually existing.
Question Author
The trouble with the atheist scientists is that they do not believe the universe came from nothing as in a total absence of anything, but from a quantum vacuum and gravity, which is SOMETHING. Very big assumptions.
Theland, //Very big assumptions. //

An even bigger assumption is the one that claims you know.
Ha! Back to the drawing board . . . Einshtine.
