How is the young 19year old daughter in Israel?
oops...wrong thread.
I'll tell him !
Well we will have to agree to disagree won't we?
There is a dangerous game being played with medical advice on medication being given out.
I have never asked you to stop posting but I do worry what would happen if the wrong advice on medication was given out and someone fell ill.
Sorry I can see you are otherwise involved with one of your 'ladies' so I will leave this serious discussion to you and your 'lady' so you can discuss fripperies!

It wasn't you Islay.

As long as someone has, what one feels, is "informed advice" from whatever source, then they have the right to post on AB...medically qualified or not.
Well lets hope they don't end up killing someone then eh!!
Islay...^^^^ yes, we would both agree on that.
Islay.......why are you being so childish over his issue ?
Sorry Mikey I am not being childish at all over the OP issue - I advised him to seek advice again from his medical professional - how is that being childish?
Paracetamol/bruffen combination is effect and easily source on the high street.
And most corner shops.

I got 16 paracetamol and 16 ibuprofen for £1.88. Cheaper than 8 branded ibuprofen, same strength.
Never ever purchase the brand named medication. It's a rip off .
I suffer from a chronic back condition which causes me, at times, debilitating pain. My Dr. kindly prescribes paracetamol in 1 gram pill form. She does so to save me from dragging myself from chemist's to chemist's to buy lower doses, which I have to put together to swallow. I have been very firmly told that only 1 gram doses are enough to affect sciatic pain - but I must not take more than 4 per 24 hours. They work.
The doctor must have had a good reason for saying -'-no painkillers.' Your friend should ask him before taking anything.
That's extremely unlikely, Andres. A Doctor's first priority is nearly always to give pain control.

I suspect the OP is not giving the full story and he nearly always asks questions on behalf of a "friend."
