Would that prove anything though smurfchops? They might say you might have lent your phone to someone or someone else may have been driving your car. Do they have evidence itw as your reg number. Sometimes they can misread certain letters
Who issued the parking ticket anyway?
It will be no use , they will just say someone else was driving the car.
It is the car registration that they go on not who was driving.
You will need more proof than your mobile, that will give a Area Signal but as said not who was using it, is there any other way you can prove it was not you in your car? if so, do it, if the car park has CCTV as to see the footage to see if you are on Camera.
As has been said, proving where your mobile phone was won't prove where you were.

Mobile phone companies do keep records of which masts have been 'pinged' by which phones but they're normally only made available to the police and security services upon production of a warrant. You can't normally access the information yourself. However it's possible that a phone company might release the information under a 'data access' request, as defined by the Data Protection Act, but they'd be entitled to charge you a tenner for it.

It would make more sense though to require whoever issued the parking ticket to provide proof (usually in the form of photographs) that your vehicle was parked in contravention of any relevant rules.

It's the driver of a vehicle, rather than the registered keeper who is (in the first instance) responsible for paying any parking penalties but (under the provisions of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) the charge can be transferred to the registered keeper if he/she fails to provide details of who was driving the vehicle.
You could ask to see the photo they took of your car with the time-stamp on it. If someone has cloned your number plate you may be able to show that it wasn't your car by some distinguishing feature eg, old tax disc still on.
I'm confused by the reference to 'this morning' in the post.

That suggests that the parking ticket hasn't been received through the post but was actually attached to the car's windscreen. So it's hard to see how there could be any doubts as to the location of the vehicle.
location history settings show where youve been if you have it enabled
i also take a pic of where i park and the car park ticket close up inside the windscreen
Pay up
Is this a fine or just a parking charge notice? Only the police or the council can issue parking fines , private parking companies can only issue parking charge notices which are no more than an invoice for overstaying the time limit in a private car park.
They should all photograph it
- does it all tally ?

anyway follow the procedure to appeal
and send more than one
I am pretty sure in the appeal process, I told them to re read a previous letter ( copy included) which they hadnt bothered with
// i also take a pic of where i park and the car park ticket close up inside the windscreen//
so do I
but in case the poster was at home, sitting on a sofa picking his nose wasnt he ? - no photo of that I suppose
