Was it meant to look like that though ?

And what about the purple skirt...was that meant to be hitched into her knickers ?
I meant pop stars and pantomime dames and Theresa May don't count.

That was an accident Mikey, after a visit to the loo to "powder her nose".
Ridiculous to wear dreads, at her age and colour. Have they not taken into account the "Protected Characteristic Minorities" recommendations from Miniluv?
The only reason white models shouldn't wear dreadlocks is good taste.

Actually, that's not 'good taste', that's your perception of 'good taste' and it is entirely individual, and cannot be forced onto other people who think differently.
its a one way street, I cant remember any cries of racism when Michael Jackson lightened his skin.

Heres someone that was on Good Morning the other day that has done the opposite !

tonyav - Let's not confuse 'cultural appropriation' with barking mad seriously unbalanced attention-seeking behaviour shall we?

Oh hang on - they are both aspects of the same thing - as you were!!!

Pretty much, yes Andy.
'good taste', my perception of 'good taste'; same thing Andy.
well, there are some people who don't much like the idea of skin-lightening

Goodness knows who ever thought that ad was a good idea.

Actually, that is not true.

There are broad acceptances of what is 'good taste' which are defined by what society as a whole accepts, and what it does not accept.

So, if you think making jokes about the Holocaust at a party with Jewish guests is in good taste, then your idea of what constitutes good taste is at odds with the view of society as a whole.

So, your statement that wearing dreadlocks is against 'good taste' is not strictly true since I doubt that society as a whole has formed a view which would influence acceptance, as in the example I gave.

Therefore I believe my point stands, you may think it is not in good taste, but that does not mean that society as a whole would agree with you.

That may be down to the fact that he had a skin condition called vitiligo.

That’s what he claimed at the time when it became apparent that his skin was several shades lighter in the 80s than it was in the 70s.

It was confirmed at his autopsy:

Shame that VW jacket is at least five years old, I could be quite tempted by it.

I have a couple of VW pieces and she has a very clear style. I'd love one of her evening dresses.
Eccles...but would you allow yourself to be photographed with your skirt caught up in your knickers ?
I had them done in Mexico and the Turks and Caicos. I liked them at the time but they caused me to have a very flaky scalp.
No and it isn't Mikey.
Did MJ have vitiligo universalis? Usually it presents in patches, in a random distribution. His entire skin went several shades lighter with no evidence of any areas of skin being unaffected.
did you see his entire skin, though, NoM?
jno, he often stripped off during a stage performance, so Ive seen is entire upper half... Not a shred of patchiness.
But I am the arbitrator of good taste. I epitomise it. Society follows when it can.
