Just seen Annie Nightingale on Pointless. It's been many years since I have seen her it's true but....oh my.

That's the other thing....I never realised how tiny she was!

I've never seen her before, only heard her on the radio, so I was surprised to see how she looked as photos I've seen of her would have been when she was much younger, I had no idea she was this age either. My first impressions were, isn't she small, why is her hair such a mess, and why is she wearing sunglasses. As others have said though, she is a bit wacky so if this is how she looks now, then so be it.

I know what you mean anagram, it's always a shock when we see our idols when they have aged and we tend to forget that we too age, don't we .....

I just googled her. Not sure what all the fuss is about, but she looked like a normal and probably feisty 77yr old to me. And not particularly wacky either.

Now this lady is wacky...and a good deal older than Annie...but I like her take on getting old.
