Gness, It's beyond some members to do that, they try to side swipe any members post not only mine it make me sick, & some wonder the way I reply. I think it's TV Time, tar ra xx
One of you twots is going to have to stop first or you'll both be here all night.

I like Micky Flanagan's view on neighbours: 'two to three doors either side you have to say hello and offer help... it's neighbourly. Any further than that, **** 'em.
I know that, TWR......but it's so predictable now that it's really best to smile.....and ignore....xxx
You don't help yourself TWR, some gentle guidance is just met with animosity. You could do a lot to help yourself with the perceived antagonism you face in posts.
Send for the Navy Squaddies, they will sort the bad neigbours out.
yes - she used to keep a large dog in a cage
and her door and my window was such the animal used to gaze at me mournfully

I rang u the RSPCA - but she Knew what I had Done.
a neighbour said - she gave the dog to a farm - where it had lots of roaming space a few weeks after you left

so all the neighbours knew why I had moved as well
I've had one lot of terrible neighbours. Their arguing and music almost drove me completely mad. I didn't want to leave though as it was a lovely house with a good landlord, and it was tough to find decent accommodation as a skint single mother.

Thankfully, they were chucked out eventually.
are we still talking about neighbours?

gawd, have a few stories about some. the one who said to me, 'alba, I do miss you and your children outside playing in the front garden' was the first to complain, silly mare
My son had awful neighbours, and had to move out. The noise was constant. The main trouble was the neighbours' children, who had something wrong with them, ( mentally ?) which meant that they got up in the night, screamed frequently and kicked the radiators. At least, that's what it sounded like. The parents seemed to know what misery they were causing, but accepted no responsibility. And the dog Never Ever stopped barking.
TWR I am NOT going to war. I decided that the best way to handle it is to continue to stay on very good terms with the people who live around me and to be publicly polite to the people who have tried to cause trouble. I have also taken other preventative action which I don't propose to discuss on here.
I've never had a neighbour that forced me to move house but I've known plenty of people who have. Strangely enough, they've all lived next door to me ;-)
Had some bad neighbours in the past.

My parents had a very painful neighbour once. My brothers and I put an end to their antics very quickly. Geez it was fun.
