Son in law is due to give blood on Friday, he's received an email saying not to go if he's been to Italy in the last 28 days. Does anyone know why this might be?

No doubt, it can be attributed to Ryanair.....even the autopilots are not wanting to fly them.

They do tend to play it safe...they refused my blood many years ago because I'd been to Siberia! (lots of mossies there in high summer...even though I'd been mid-winter at -40C)
