According to Eric Pickles, who is running the party's analysis of its election campaign, the Tory party "urgently" needs more activists.

While the Conservatives have not published their membership numbers since 2014 (when it was just shy of 150k), it is now estimated to be near 100,000 and falling.

Yes I admire her tanacity but I think she needs to step down. Maybe give Borris a chance. Otherwise my next vote will be for labour in the first time in my life
Me too Naomi. I don't envy her her job at all. Juncker and co are of course making everything as difficult as possible for her and would do so for whichever party was trying to extricate us from the EU.
Tony, //Otherwise my next vote will be for labour in the first time in my life //

So much for principle.
Lady she's already started very badly IMAO with the speak she made
Ladybirder, absolutely right. I don't envy her job either. Not one bit. Still, the armchair critics, the majority of whom have never amounted to anything particularly special, will have their fifteen minutes of 'fame' - albeit only on the AnswerBank.
Naomi not principle just don't think she is able to do the job and brexit us
Tony, right now you have no choice but to wait and see. Such a pity the people of this country won't come together to support this country.
I think that membership used to bring certain social advantages which are rapidly fading along with socialising...

LOL. May was a terrible Home Secretary. Promising to reduce immigration (and it shot up), cutting the police numbers by 20,000 (that's come back to haunt her), the Bolivian Cat (that was complete lies).
As Prime Minister she has blundered, handing away the Conservative majority needlessly, being the biggest error.
She has no authority, is very weak, can't control her party, being trod on by Barnier. She is utterly useless, pointless and hardly anyone thinks she is doing a good job. But apart from that, she is fantastic.
You so right gromet - didn't think I would be alone
Gromit....lol!
