Office of qualifications aka OFQAL may well be able to help you. I can remember most of the books I studied for English back at the end of the 60's......would never touch those authors ever again!!!!
Oh, Mallyh! No more Graham Greene or John Wyndham?
Tilly2 .... MallyJ not MallyH!! No more Dickens, Poetry, George Eliot or Shakespear......the most boring teaching ever....no desire ever to pick up any of those authors ever again!
Sorry Mallyj. Shakespeare..So we both got the last letter wrong..:-)
Tilly2 - see I can't even raise the enthusiasm to spell his name correctly!!! I read so much but never those authors...... amazing how teachers can influence you down the years.
I think it was Great Expectations, Romeo and Juliet and some poetry possibly including Betjeman, Muir and Frost.
