What, in your opinion, is the best biscuit in the universe?

For an everyday biscuit, for texture and dunkability, you just can't beat a Jammie Dodger.

However, for all-round awesomeness, I'm simply torn between 2 M&S favourites - the half-dipped Dutch Shortcake and the buttery Biscuit Curls.

Tunnocks caramel logs, and plain chocolate digestives.

Does anyone mind the name of a biscuit from the 60's and 70's, it had coloured icing mainly brown, yellow or pink, and you would get a little drum or trumpet on the icing.

I have a feeling they were called something like picturebox but I can't find anything when I google
I thought they were called something like " carousel" !! But I can't find anything on them either.
Aldi do a gorgeous chocolate and coconut biscuit. They're very moreish and coconutty. I really recommend them.
That link woofgang is so close to the biscuit I was thinking about, but the pictures I can remember on the biscuit were a small drum, a trumpet, think there might have been a teddy bear, and think there might have been a doll !!
not that tony :(
I think it was later than that, Sam? I remember those iced ones.
I'm with Zero on the "Border" dark choc gingers, but this is beaten into second place as the best biscuit ever by Thornton's version of the same thing, which I think is also cheaper.
My favourite plain biscuit is malted milk, with the cow and gate imprint on each one.
Nb. I often wonder if there is a connection with "Cow and Gate" milk?
I'm thinking late 60's early 70's pixie !!
I keep thinking "carousel" !! but can't find anything !!
That's the pictures I remember tony ..... thanks ;)
Thanks woofgang, you're as star ;))
Must have been an earlier tin I think, Sam.
That's been bugging me for years so it has,
Maryland choc..chip cookies for me or Gingernuts... I used to like cinnamon buscuits but not seen any for years.
Now that you've shown a picture I remember Playbox from the 50s. Can anyone remember Yo-Yo from the same era, each one wrapped in silver foil?
If yoyo's were akin to mint viscounts, they were awesome, for me associated with Christmas.
