No sqad does not " have a point", this is Islay's journey she decides what she does with it, unless you are now qualified in bariatric surgery and psychology may I suggest sqad you are under no pressure to comment.

Yes jj I will.
Bazille sorry I thought I had answered you, yes eventually I should be able to eat more to stop the weight loss, I am lucky my surgeon does his sleeve very tight to get maximum weight loss so I am doing better than some that were sleeved at the same time
Islay...like ummmm.......you have missed my point.
Obesity is a disease, perhaps of the mind, but a disorder and the symptoms that the disease no longer exists ( it is cured) is that the patient no longer feels the need to publicise it.
You find people who harp on about diets, weight loss etc, really have never come to terms with the disorder and may relapse and often do at the drop of a hat.
i am not a fan of weight and diet sections and have never contributed to it on AB as i feel it is self defeating.
That is just my opinion and when you do not feel the need to post about your weight......then that is a victory.
My Canadian mate, who underwent similar surgery, after a couple of years is looking so happy and eating a tea-plate of food laden with some proteins and calories and other good things.
Well, I say laden, it's not before the good dietress comes along and says otherwise.

Well I'm interested in Islay's post, I've been away from here for some time and this is the first I've heard of it.
Well done Islay :)

Well I still have 6 stone to lose so never fear there will still be updates
I don't think I misunderstood the meaning. I thought it was a veiled dig.
I understand what sqad’s saying but all I can say is that I think you’re doing brilliantly so well done you!! You should be very proud of yourself.
Well Islay, I think you have done great and should be proud of yourself . May I ask ? If you still have 6 stone to lose, how heavy were you when you began ? If I have crossed the line, apologies.
