I'm looking for a different free hosting company for a website, as current host is not reliable.

It needs to be one that doesn't make you use their website builder - as site has been done in a CMS package.

Have looked at a few of your suggestions already.

Some have catches such as you must log in once every x amount of days.

The company I'm using (for 2 sites) are very slow to load, and lately have been down for days on end. Worse still this week one of the sites was going to a Canadian server - nothing to do with the hosting company, the other site was working fine! Raised support ticket with them - but no reply as usual! The site and the domain name had not been hacked - that was the first thing I checked!
There's not necessarily anything wrong with a Canadian server. After all, The Answerbank is hosted on a US server!

If it was me I'd probably bite the bullet and fork out £6 per month (after the first 3 month offer period and including VAT) for first-rate web hosting:

No - the site was gone and somebody's book list was showing instead!
