gness at 11:29, your last para. I totally agree with you xx
Thanks......I know many don't, HereIam.......but I guess it's hard to imagine the feelings and the memories and the pictures you just can't rid yourself of if it's not something you've experienced.....xxx
Bless you x
I don't think that anyone with an iota of human compassion - not to mention common sense - needs to have experienced it to want to rid the world of such monsters. I'd shed no tears for any of them.
I also believe if it's not happened to you then you imagine it's only the actual abuse you need to get over and put behind you....but it's also stupid little things that you can't explain because you don't want to tell anyone what happened....
My abuser used newspaper on the floor and to clean up afterwards....
I developed a really silly reaction to a newspaper on the floor anywhere....
When I married, my husband wanted the morning paper delivered and couldn't understand...because he didn't know...why I couldn't bear to see the paper on the hall floor.....
I don't fret now at all.....but it pings a little memory from time to time......silly I know..... :-)
Gness, I'm largely on the fence when it comes to the death penalty, but when I read horrific stories like yours I tend to think that a rope would be the way forward.
I was once in prison with a bloke who had been abused by pedos as a kid. Years later as an adult he found 2 of them and killed them, getting himself a life sentence. Personally I would have given him a medal for ridding the earth of scum.
Oh gness, not silly AT ALL .......x
My last reply was to HereIam, Naomi.....I don't say people can't show compassion and don't feel the same as I do without having been abused......but I don't know how I would feel if I'd not experienced it. Then again, there are those in my position who would be horrified at my feelings about punishment and the death penalty......folk far more forgiving than me.......

Nailit.....I do know that if my child had been a victim I would take action......and I'd contribute towards your medal.... x
Gness, //My last reply was to HereIam, Naomi//

My post wasn't addressed to anyone in particular. It was just my opinion.
He should never smell pure fresh air again.
Unless I have misread the link he is in prison in Malaysia.
I also do not think he will ever get out, I know nothing of prison conditions and rules in Malaysia .
He's in prison in the UK for offences he committed in the UK, Eddie
They're bad EDDIE ... very bad
Arrrggggg! He is prison in the UK for offences he committed in Malaysia
Then he can start to apply for parole when his tariff is up. But I still do not see much chance of him ever being released on licence.
The 'short piece of rope' option faces me squarely when it comes to this sort of thing. gness, my best friend at Grammar School from age 11 until she left at 16 (mum forced her to earn money - but she is still a dear friend) told me at age 14 what her step-dad had been doing to her since she was 9 - he gave her sweeties. She told me because she had gained the courage to shop him. I have seen the damage first hand. I would pull the bolt on the trap-door myself.

He will never get out, I'm certain. :)
