I'm looking to buy a new vacuum cleaner. Has anyone here bought the Gtech and if so what are your thoughts?

What is your house like? I have got the original gtech floor vac and its fine for quick flits around but I have to use it quite frequently to keep up with the dirt (two big mucky dogs and I am a gardener) and the dirt reservoir is quite small for all it compacts. I understand the new one is easier to empty though. It has no tools though and I HATE their cordless hand held with a passion. I view my Gtech as a useful adjunct to my main vac and its certainly a lot lighter but I couldn't manage with it alone. If I had a flat and was an indoors kind of person though, them maybe....although I'd still need a vac with tools so it would be an expensive option
I've had my for a few years and I love it.
its an over priced vacuum! I bought a similar style from Shark and its the best vacuum Ive ever bought, Its excellent for picking up pet hairs to.
I've got the new one and it's brilliant. I love it. I got the package off Ideal world, the vacuum, hand held and car accessory kit for £299 last year.
