My Daughter Had 31 Botex Injections Yesterday..

My apologies, as I posted this in the media/television section, and have put it here, in case it might help others. who suffer the same.

⚑ If anybody remembers I posted about her daily painful headaches last year.
She had all sorts of medication from her doctors, and in the end went private, with no success, but was told Acupuncture might help, it didn't.

About 3 months ago, I was reading an article online about King College Hospital, who were looking for volunteers with similar problems.
She had to get a referral letter from her GP, and she had the appointment at Guys Hospital, instead of Kings.
Had a good chat with a professor, and had to sign a form etc.
He said it was Chronic Migraine.

She had the Botox injections all over her head, forehead, face etc, and been told it would take a few days for any sign of improvement, but her lines on her forehead have gone :-).

She has to go back in two months for some more if it works, so it must have cost ££££££.
Will let you know how it turns out.

That's good news Trt, I had heard that getting a certain part of your ear pierced is supposed to help with extreme headaches as well.
