or would 1 person be able to do it all?
I want to make some changes to my kitchen, but I want to keep all the door/drawer fronts, and most of the cupboards. The main jobs would be moving the sink, washing machine and radiator.Taking up all the floor tiles and replacing with new, and plastering the walls. I know I can't go to the places that fit new kitchens because they would want to put a whole new kitchen in that I can't afford. Also, where would I find someone? I've tried word of mouth but most are dissatisfied with the work they've had done and I'm a bit reluctant to look in the local paper. Many thanks.

There will be people in your local area who can do it all. Facebook groups for your local town would be a good place to start.
Do you have a checkatrade.com in your area? If so see how many satisfied customers they have and read the comments to decide if they would suit you.

I remember seeing something on TV that I think was something to do with British Gas but I can't remember what it was called. A friend of mine looked on one of these on-line looking for a decorator, and didn't get any replies.I'll have a look at your suggestions though. Thank you.
