I'm having a very boring chicken salad and jacket potato tonight and I'm fishing for ideas...

Just had a very excellent gammon steak from Aldi's Specially Selected range - juicy, tender and properly pig flavoured. Couple of free range eggs & some herby potatoes to accompany Glass of Ghost Road Zinfandel to wash everything down Hic Burp Pardon SDx

Islay, blast, you beat me to it!!
Am liking BM's friend :-)

Minty, broon is in me hand-bag, ready to go at a moment's notice lol

Local B&Q have a lovely selection of lights, local Gale's are more expensive.

We went to B&Q the other day and saw some nice stuff. We don't want to spend a fortune on the kitchen lighting as we'll probably move in a couple of years' time.

Now, back to food ...

I might bake my rose, cardamom and pistachio cake this afternoon

:-)
Chinese pork tenderloin - easy marinade to make and easy cook + standing time. Quite a favourite :)
Sounds delightful!!!
Are you sure barmaid he sounds a gem!!
Question Author
I do like pork tenderloin, Choux. Last time I did it, it made a mustard, cream and sage sauce, but can't for the life of me remember my recipe.
This is the one I use, but I don't let the pork get as dry as the picture suggests! There is always enough marinade left in the roasting dish to use as a pouring sauce over the sliced meat. Just serve it on a bed of rice with chestnut mushrooms and finely sliced spring onions.
