Good for the Police and prison staff, but what about all the other public service workers, who have had to put up with a pay cut for the last 7 years ?

Yes, I expect all the 100,000's of public sector staff could all leave and get jobs as private teachers, private nurses, etc, etc.

Its been a lot longer than 7 years since Prison Officers had a pay rise even close to inflation.

Yes TTT there are a lot of private prisons.( Yes I know there are a few .)
But then of course in your view prison officers are a waste of space!
