Hi all,

I'm getting married this year and we have decided to go to the Maldives for our honeymoon. We definately want to go all inclusive and go to one of the smaller islands. We would also like to stay in a jacuzzi beach or water villa (we don't want much...lol). When we went to the travel agents, she kept coming up with b&b options and half board.

So, has anyone been to the Maldives and reccommend anywhere?

Thanks in advance

Some 11 years or so ago,our (large and generous) family paid for us to have 2 weeks in the Maldives.
I can't remember if the resort was all inclusive as we weren't paying any of the bills! LOL
What I do remember is that we thought we were in paradise.
We stayedat the Huvafenfushi Resort,in an Ocean Pavillion.
Whilst it IS PAradise,it's certainly not the cheapest of Maldive Resorts, but if you CAN afford it it's certainly one of the top resorts in the Maldives.
This is their website:~

PS:~
I have just given myself a heart attack looking at the prices (that our family paid!)but hey ho you only get married once don't you?
Well,I hope so.
I hope you have many years of married bliss ahead, and that when YOU reach 50 years you can return to the Maldives.
PS:~
Sorry my answer was a bit confusing.
Our family paid for us,for OUR 50th wedding anniversary.

We had our honeymoon on Meeru last year, booked through Hayes and Jarvis, and it was AMAZING! You can choose full board or all inclusive and they have water villas and jacuzzi beach villas. Its one of the large islands but its all relative - its about 400m long and 200m wide I think! All inclusive in the Maldives isn't like it is in Europe or the Carribean though, you're unlikely to find anywhere where absolutely everything is included.
