yeah of course
has anyone tried reading it

He was arrested put in a cell without a drink
confessed to whatever
and now wishes to say that the confession was co erced

are they allowed to do this

NJ where are you
anyway I think they can do this ( just zap you in a cell with five sheets of bog paper)

but if you are going to try for 'duress' then you need a lawyer.

I mean I think slashers english is OK compared say to 3T
Touché :)
That's similar to how the tech generates a post from my perfect typing, which is why I have to proof read them umpteen times, and still find errors one microsecond after I hit "Answer Now" (or maybe days later). An edit facility is a vital tool.

I think the issue is about drink being withheld ?
Under Code C relating to the requirements of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, anyone held in custody must be given a written statement of their entitlements, which includes "adequate food and drink":

However you might find it hard to argue that 3 hours without a drink is unreasonable. Plenty of people have to work for far longer than that without any tea breaks, for example.
Chris have you spotted mikeys question about 'weird train fares'?
It's right up your street.
^^^ Been there, done that, Eddie ;-)
Thanks Chris I've just seen it .
They probably thought you'd had enough to drink already.
Lol DarceyK but maybe an Admin person needs to look at post I don't think it's real lol
Doesn't really matter if real or not - informative reply and a good link in the AB Bank by Buenchico.
