Can you park several cars on a public road and be covered under trade insurance.

The rules of the road re parking apply to traders in the same way as all motorists, if a Motor Trader is using the Street as his forecourt or parking lot then contact the Council to see where to go from there.
So far as insurance us concerned, provided each individual vehicle has been notified to the Motor Insurance Database, don't see why not.
I suppose it will depend on the insurance company and the exact wording of the policy.
They've been known to be fairly precise with terms and conditions in the odd case. :)
