After cooking rice for a dish for the evening I'm presuming I can let the rice cool down thouroughly, bung it in the fridge and it will be alright to eat the next day cold?
There is a reason why I want to do this but I won't bore you with it

I've cold stored and reheated microwave rice without any problems, but as New Judge says a toxin can multiply., as confirmed to me by a health expert. It's the similar toxin to Botulism as in Botox I think. So that's what you ladies are injecting in your lips.
It's been in the fridge, it'll be fine. Just don't leave it out at room temperature for ages.

Wow. It seems there are a few different ways to prepare rice to make sure I don't get food poisoning. However, it let it cool down, put it into airtight boxes and lobbed them in the fridge. I went cycling today (38 miles) and stopped to eat cold rice for lunch (1pm) No immediate reaction and now its 6.30pm and I'm still alive!
Well done on both counts.
