Jets Overhead

At about this time each morning (7.30am) recently there have been jets flying overhead. Not just one, but several over an hour or so. They are flying over right now, any ideas what the activity is? We're in East Norfolk.

I used to have links to a website, that gave live info on all air activity in the UK, but its now lost.....can anyone help ?

There's also planefinder. Doesn't show military though.

I prefer planefinder, its a little faster to respond and it shows the arrivals and departures at the airports on a single click.

I guess this activity is US air force training, but sometimes there are people on here who know a bit more about why the increase or why here and not over the Mediterranean.
Obviously military and up to no good and contributing to destroying the world.
Not a jet, but last week nearly every day about 09:30, a Spitfire with D Day recognition stripes on the wings was flying around North West Kent, although there were no local air shows scheduled for the week-end if the pilot was making practice runs.
