hair cut disaster! emergency!

Long story short, I dyed my hair, Liked the colour but it was too full on. Had a party in the night, Dad had recently bought new cordless clippers. Did a Number 4 grade all over, looked nice.

Had one piece I missed, Dad was literally following me around the house nagging and shouting as he usually does, so I locked myself in the bathroom to finish one piece (the fringe area) and accidentally cut around 3" back from the fringe, without any plastic guard on the clippers. Just a bare blade.

I now have a patch on my head that is totally bald. To avoid bullying, I'm having my work e-mail from school, which is fine.

But, in 2 weeks, I'm presenting a fashion show! Will my hair grow from 'stubble' to say a Number 2 grade, just to fill in the patch and even it out, so its not so stark? Please someone, I have 13 days, reassure me it will grow from stubble to a 2 grade!

In two weeks you're not going to get much growth.
Maybe you should just buy yourself a fasionable baseball cap ! (But not an England one in case they lose their next match).

I usually get my hair cut every 2 weeks or so, and it grows from a shaved Number 4, to the equivalent of around a number 6 blade.

My family say it should grow from stubble-length to a 2, at least. A 2 isn't very long, its just not bald.

(Can't wear caps in School, anyway!)
I used to occasionally shave my sons head when he had nits (yuk) and found the shorter it was shaved, the quicker it would grow! I think you'll be ok - just! Good luck.
i would think it would grow enough in two weeks not to be quite so noticable. go over the rest again as well to even it up a bit. Just make sure the guard is on this time!!!!!!! i did it to my hubby once. he wasn't happy!!! all the best
could you extend the bald patch so it forms some sort of pattern or logo? In other words, so it looks deliberate?

I was thinking of doing that - but its beyond help.

Its a perfect square of stubble.

My hair grows quite fast.. just want some reassurance that within 2 weeks, it will go from being stubble to actual hair you can feel - say a #2 grade on a shaver.
