When Cats Throw Up..

...why can't they stand in one place like normal people instead of walking around doing it? I have had to clear up about 15 mini piles that start in the conservatory, make a trail through the living room (carpet) with the final fanfare in the hall.

dogs aren't much better, mine refuses to go outside when i know she's about to be sick

-This made me laugh. My cats make such a performance of throwing up. They yak for ages, walk around, stick their tongues out and then hurl as far as they can. The dog, on the other hand, simply stops, quietly deposits a tummyful, and walks on. A favourite trick of cats is to be sick when they are perched on the highest point in the house - eg on top of a wardrobe. Nice.
