On the main news last night the point was being emphasised how short of nurses we now are.
Can I just point out that then the clever twins ( Bill & Ben of number ten)were running things they started cutting the NHS to the bone by making NHS staff redundant ( my daughter was one of them, state registered nurse of long standing, midwife, Nurse Practitioner, Health Visitor.) Swept out with many of her Colleagues. Now suddenly would you believe it there is an acute shortage of nursing staff. Is there anyone out there who is naive enough to ask why ?

Is that the way it works. I thought the NHS had a budget and it was up to the NHS to decide how to spend it. If the governemnt gets involved in deciding on redundancies then I don't know about it but would be interested to learn. Mayeb questions should be asked of those who made those decisions
