I've just been confirmed as being 11 weeks pregnnt and i've been having the worst morning sickness. It's like every other day but today i brought up my cereal! nice..xx
Anyway, i find it really strange that after being quesy in the morning, later on in the day i'm ravenously hungry! I was'nt a big eater before but this is ridiculous, i find myself having seconds!
Whwn i was pregnant with my son who's 2 and a half now, i was'nt sick, did feel a bit quesy though, and i did'nt have much of an appetite.
Does anyone know how it can be so the opposite this time?

Thanks x

Every pregnancy is different. just because you werent so sick last time doesnt mean you would never suffer with sickness
Some people use sea bands (available from chemist) to stop them feeling so sick.
Obviously if you feel that your morning sickness is excessive then go see your midwife for advice.
I sympathise Stressed Out I was horrendously nauseous when I was pregnant, I was never actually sick but felt sick 24 hours a day. I found that nibbling contantly made me feel better. Don't worry about the eating it's your bodies way of getting the nutrients it needs that's why people often get cravings for things. I had a thing about marmite sandwiches and melon.

Try eating anything with ginger in it to help with nausea, crystallised ginger is best. It really works
i agree, all pregnancys are different. i found that eating a rich tea biscuit in small bites helped stop me from feeling sick in the morning!
my current pregnancy is ever so different to my other 2, with this one i have just had constant nausea and no appetite, whereas with my previous pregnancies i was ever so ill, especially my second son, i was in hospital twice on a drip as i was sick so much, and yet i was starving ALL the time, even if if i did bring it straight up! The sickness lasted til 22 weeks with both.
With my second son i put on 3 stone by the time i had him at 26 weeks, i am now 26 weeks with this one and havent even put on a stone altogether, so goes to show how different pregnancies can be.
Congrats!! I am 27 wks pregnant with my first and had absolutely horrendous morning noon and night sickness. App it is to do with the hormones irritating your stomach lining and the nausea is to do with your blood sugar levels dropping, I felt constantly nauseous and also had a lot of violent sickness so I really feel for you as it made me feel really crappy. I was starving all the time too and eating like mad and as a result have put on 2 1/2 stone already! Argh!
I kept a muesli bar or a babybel with me in my bag as when I was out and felt sicky I found it helped-I guess it was raising my blood sugar or something. Anyway, it felt like it was never gonna end but eventually eased off at around 15 wks....'hurray!!' I said to myself, until the acid indigestion started!!
Hope every thing goes well and it eases off sooner than mine did!! :O)
