HINTS ONLY please

All types of footwear or things, people or places associated with footwear.

I have 6 that I still can't do in this quiz. I must be so daft! I have racked my brain (?) and I know the first one has had a hint given by Mama but I STILL can't get it. I would be grateful for more HINTS only please as requested by quizsetter.

1. Footwear in Bow (5,5)
7. Worn by a carpenter, perhaps (6,4) (I thought maybe 'wooden clog' but it doesn't sound right??)
12. Reportedly, John or Paul are steamrollers (6,8)
21. Throw one of 15 for this style (9) I have the answer to 15 as Trainers?
32. Egg-drink is not a success (4,5)
36. Untrustworthy men at the top of Everest? (4,5)

I feel so stupid as they are probably quite easy, but I am at the stage of looking into the clues too much now and seeing nothing!?

Thank you in advance for any help :o)

By the way Dave, I loved your 'Fillipe Fillope' LOL
Not a hammer but you may need a hammer to hit the first word.
Question Author
Must be too late, I must be getting tired Mamya, I can't get that one yet :o(
Refers to the shape of the footwear in question.
Question Author
I feel so stupid, even with all your hints Mamya. I have just been googling shapes etc but am still at a loss!!! :o(
12 think of shoes from the sixties
Last word is what goes in the front end of your shoes.
A style of shoe - first word is what the joiner hits with the hammer
^^^ and its not a nail, or his thumb.
Question Author
Duurr is it s****e t**d ??
no
Starts 'c' ends 's'

I dare not say more
Question Author
Oh no, I am SO thick!
The first word is what the joiner hit with the hammer.
Question Author
Oh no, i've got c****l t**d but Mamya said c****s.
I bet you're fed up with me, this is hard work!?!?
They are described with the last word plural otherwise you would have to call them using three words.
Mamya meant the 's' was the end of the second word.
