Dry Skin - Help Sqad!

Have a patch of very dry skin on my foot. GP suggested I soak it in salt water. Does it matter what type of salt and how much to the pint of water

Yes......i agree with hc4361...........I would suggest a tablespoonful of salt in roughly just under a litre of warm water and soak for about 10 mins daily............measurements and time needn't be exact.

Ordinary cooking or table salt and use a cream such as flexitol afterwards. Flexitol is the best I have ever used for my very dry feet.
Smooth Double Base Gel over area every morning.

Sqad out of interest, what does the salt do? I have an itchy patch on the front of my ankle and just think it's eczema. It's not budging though!
